SESSIONS

All sessions are remote, and I have blocked 60-minutes of time for each of them. I use zoom (how to use zoom), and you will be sent a zoom invite via email before each scheduled appointment.

PATIENT LOCATION

My medical license only allows me to see patients residing in New York State and the State of New Jersey.

INSURANCE

I do not take insurance directly. I am a licensed Medical Doctor (MD) with certified specialty (Internal Medicine) and subspecialty (Palliative Medicine) training in the state of New York. I am fully credentialed as an Out-of-Network provider for most insurance plans.

The American Medical Industry has not benefited from giving so much power to insurance companies. Keeping maximum revenue and cost minimization as the core principles of their practice; insurance companies have held physicians and patients hostage and unable to do good work.

Furthermore, in order to justify payment denials or reductions, they will often indiscriminately request patient’s notes and diagnoses, handle this information callously, and compromise patient privacy.

Using your Out-of-Network benefits can be a better option for you as a consumer both financially and in protecting your confidentiality. You need to contact your insurance company and ask specifically about your Out-of-Network benefits for a physician not directly taking payments from your insurance.

FEES
My fee for a 60-minute session is $450. I work with a sliding scale for patients that cannot afford my fee. I also work pro-bono on a case by case scenario.

ATTENDANCE AND CANCELLATION POLICY
You must cancel or reschedule your sessions 48 hours in advance or I have to charge you for the missed session.

Whenever I am able, I will attempt to reschedule appointments.
